The AI Field: MIT researchers have developed SEAL (Self-Adapting Language Models), a framework that enables AI models to autonomously generate their own training data and update their internal parameters without human intervention. The system achieved a 40% boost in factual recall and outperformed GPT-4.1 using self-generated data.
